I love me some good Thai food & Lemongrass usually, consistently delivers! There have been times where the avocado in the fresh spring rolls has been hard but they have always happily replaced it with fresh pieces. Their Thai Coffee is delicious!! I have yet to have Thai Coffee that good someplace else.
The only downside to the restaurant is if you want to sit outside, there always seems to be flies outside! Granted, nothing the restaurant personal can do but it is a bit annoying on a beautiful evening.
Other than that though; the food is consistently delicious so I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you enjoy Thai! -

OMG I'm soooo freaking late in getting this review posted. This is more than a month late....bad elite. So lets get this resolved shall we? :P
I came here with my team for lunch during a break from our all day week long meeting (yay business trips). We were actually thinking about going to a sushi place that was recommend but since one of our crew wasn't down for raw fish...we decided that Thai food was a better bet for satisfying all of us :).
We ended up ordering two lunch specials and I went with a dinner option. Only because I wanted to try their duck curry. My teammates ended up with curries as well (since coworkers I didn't ask to try them). I also ordered the Thai Tea (yummy!). Of course, that was too much extra caffeine for me since I'd had giant cold brew coffee like 4 hours before. Overall food was not to bad - curry could have been a touch or two spicier and the duck a hair less fatty.
Service was pretty good - it helped that the big parties left before we got there or arrived after we left. We were definitely well taken care of and should I ever have a craving when I'm in Livermore on business this will most definitely be a spot to visit -

We Uber'd from a service shop to 1st street to get some lunch while we waited. I knew there were many Restaurants in downtown Livermore. When we got out of the Uber, the first thing we came to was Lemongrass. There were people eating on the little patio so that was a good sign. We decided to stop in and give it a try. I was excited to know they have a lunch menu.
Our Order:
1. Fried Spring Rolls. So delish. Usually, spring rolls taste similar at any good Chinese spot. To my surprise, they were better than usual. The sweet and sour had garlic and it was not so sweet. So so good.
2. Chef Special w/Basil Sauce and brown rice. The sauce is rich but does well with the shrimp, chicken and vegetables. I enjoyed it. It was a good serving size.
3. Kua Gai. This was probably my favorite. The sauce was fresh and soaked into the noodles, making every bite a great one. I don't eat noodles much, but I would choose this. It was my husbands dish so he was nice enough to share with me.
Pros: The food was ideal. It was better than I expected since it was only 3 stars on Yelp. The waitress was very kind and service was quick.
Cons: I have nothing negative for this review. It was 1pm when we arrived so service was quick since they were not too busy. I did notice that some items on the lunch menu are not on the regular menu, like the Kua Gai.
We will definitely be returning when we are in the area! -

My family loves Thai food so we had to try Lemongrass when we were in Livermore. We went a bit later than the dinner rush on a Thursday so we were able to be seated immediately.
We ordered A LOT of food so I think it's safe to say we got a good taste of the menu. For drinks, we started with Thai teas and a Thai iced coffee. The coffee was strong but really good. For appetizers, we ordered the crab rangoon, tom kha, and a salad - all were very good. Then for the entrees we had pad thai, se eew, and gra prow. I see now that the BBQ chicken got really rave reviews so I'll definitely try that next time. Lastly, we topped it off with the fried banana and ice cream. All the food was great and the portions were big so we were super full by the end of the meal.
You'll get a lot of bang for your buck and the owners are so nice! They and their servers were very welcoming and checked on us often to make sure we were happy. Such a great meal! -

Hands down the worst service I have ever experienced coming here for dinner. If I can give this place a negative stars I would!!! My waiter LEK was extremely rude and inconsiderate to my friend and I. Not only did I not feel welcomed in this restaurant but I felt like if I even asked for a cup of water it's such a burden on the staff. Why work as a waiter if you can't even do your job right with kindness? I am not a picky eater but the entree I ordered was disgusting to the point I had to send it back and not only did it take an hour for my food to be served but also the waiter showed attitude and shouted aloud to us saying " you don't like it then why order it" when I told her if I can order something else. It was my first time coming to this restaurant and I have never felt so disrespected and disgusted by the staff and the food.
If your looking to get disrespected and be served unpleasant food then by all means come and support this restaurant. Never stepping foot here again!
